I am an outdoor enthusiast with an affinity for hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, and baseball. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I received my B.A. in Politics & Government from Western Colorado University in 2013 and a Outdoor Industry MBA from the same institution in 2020. I found WCU from a simple google search, and didn't know a single person when I moved to town. At the time, I had no idea how big of an impact Gunnison and WCU would have on my life.

I met my wife, Erin, while at WCU and we got to know each other while hiking, camping, and skiing/snowboarding. Traditional "dates" are hard to come by in the Gunnison Valley, but we didn't mind escaping from reality every weekend to enjoy the great outdoors together. We were married in 2014 on the mountain in Crested Butte, CO, a place we hold dear to our hearts. In 2019, we had twin boys, Gatlin and Griffin, to add to our family of two dogs, Teo and Peyton.
